How to manage a parent or portal instance with multiple child instances or members.

Where to begin

Log in to the tuOtempO Partner Zone.

Step 1. Create Your Portal Instance

a) Creation

Go to > Add a Client

b) Settings

When the instance has been created click on the name of the instance and select Settings.

Search for portalInstanceName and enter the value portal

The portalInstanceName field.

c) Configuration

Log in to the tuOtempO admin zone.

i. Switch off all communication

Go to > Setup > Communication > General Switch for all automatic SMS, Voice and Email

Set to Disabled

ii. Add a list of services

Go to > Setup > Center > Manage Services

Add or import a list of services to the instance.

Step 2. Add a new member to the portal

Return to the tuOtempO Partner zone:


a) Create or clone a member instance

Cloning a model instance is generally faster than creating a fresh one.

Copy the name of the instance that you have created into your clipboard.

b) Associate the member instance with the portal instance

Click on the name of the portal instance and from the dropdown menu select Add members to portal.

Paste the name of the member instance that you created in the previous step.

Step 3. Map the services of the member instance to the services of the portal instance

Log in to the administration area of the member instance.

a) Create the member services

Go to > Setup > Center > Manage Services

Add the services of the member instance. If you have a long list, you may wish to Export your list of services for reference during the mapping stage.

b) Map the services

Go to > Setup > Online booking > Join a portal

For the services available on the portal (shown in the left hand column), search for the most appropriate correspondence and add it to the column on the right

Tip: You can make multiple services in the member instance correspond to a single service in the portal instance, but you cannot make a single service in the member instance correspond to multiple services in the portal instance.
c) Review your configuration

Click on Summary Report to review your configuration.

If you have made services available that you don’t wish to be available, click on the green bullet in the Web column to switch off their availability.

Appendix : Rules for GESEDENT

Step 1. Clone an existing center

Click an existing instance name and click CLONEEnter the database name (for example, sanitas_gesdent_digest), type the name* of the centre and click Clone.* In case the call site uses membership codes, write the member code

Step 2. Establish connection rules
